Chief Executive Officer | WIF

Worldview International Foundation (WIF) envisions extending its footprint in the future, embarking on impactful projects in Africa, Asia, and South America. The new CEO will play a pivotal role in activating and overseeing these upcoming initiatives, fostering sustainable growth and reinforcing WIF's commitment to global environmental and social impact.

The CEO will report directly to the President and founder of WIF, who, in turn, reports to the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership, setting the strategic direction for WIF to achieve its mission and goals.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of WIF, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Overall responsibility for managing WIF´s finances.
  • Implement best practices to optimize organizational performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners, Investors, and government entities.
  • Represent WIF at international forums and events to enhance its global presence.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive mobilization strategies to secure financial support.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential donors and investors.
  • Build and lead a high-performing and diverse management team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Ensure prudent financial management and accountability.
  • Advocate for WIF's mission and objectives in various forums.
  • Enhance WIF's public image through effective communication strategies.
  • Drive initiatives that align with WIF's commitment to environmental sustainability and social impact.
  • Spearhead the identification and opening of new countries for WIF's projects.Develop and implement strategies for successful project expansion, considering local nuances and global impact

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive leadership role.
  • A clear leader, with a strong engagement in the mission and goals of the WIF.
  • Proven experience/results in business development from similar organizations.
  • Prior experience from carbon capture field is a benefit.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning and organizational development.
  • Good understanding of advocacy and how respective government and administration work on different levels.
  • Strong understanding of environmental sustainability, carbon reduction, and social impact.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Track record of successful resource mobilization.
  • Ability to navigate and collaborate in a global context.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (business administration, environmental science, etc.) is preferred.

Worldview International Foundation (WIF) is a global foundation dedicated to making a meaningful impact on environmental sustainability, carbon capture, nature conservation, sustainable construction, and social development. WIF is actively engaged in mangrove planting initiatives in Myanmar, where they have planted close to 100 million trees, over 18,623 hectares, with more 100,000 people involved in 145 communities. WIF have new projects in development in several countries, including Malaysia and Sierra Leone. These projects are funded from the voluntary carbon market, where individuals and companies voluntarily offset their carbon emissions by investing in projects that contribute to carbon segregation.
